Great cleaning in Muggia, today 14 November 2020, by MujaVeg volunteers, with the participation of the friends of the FB page of Nutrie del Rio Ospo and with the collaboration of the Municipality of Muggia.
The numbers: ten volunteers engaged throughout the day, two cleaning interventions, thirty bags filled with waste.
In the morning, the activists collected gloves, bags and masks in the stream that crosses the commercial area of Rabuiese. Materials often intentionally released by shop customers or left in shopping carts and then flying in the first wind.
In the early afternoon the group moved to the Laghetti delle Noghere and the Vignano wood, to collect clothes and backpacks left by migrants in transit.
The initiative was carried out with the support of the Municipality of Muggia which made available the ecological pitch for recyclable materials and road containers for the dry residue.
The event was held one day after some regulatory restrictions that would not have allowed the participation of many of the volunteers involved. The occasion was therefore also used for a quick greeting between volunteers with obviously vegan refreshments.
