Ecological Sunday with volunteers from MujaVeg

Circa 50 tons of waste collected in the ecological Sunday organized by volunteers from MujaVeg. A morning spent in nature armed with gloves and bags, the event organized by the Association of Vegetarians and Vegans Muja open to all citizens has been very successful. Together with the bags brought by the wind there were also waste abandoned over the years by rudeness. Among the cans collected materials, bottles, buckets of paint, tires, two TVs, a computer, sheets, pots, and even a whole raft.

The cleaning concerned a green area of ​​the industrial area of ​​Muggia between via Flavia and the Via di San Clemente, where recently we have been created a cycle path which runs alongside the Rio Ospo. “Muggia The woods are full of waste, I do not understand how anyone could be so filthy” says Cristian Bacci, coordinator of the initiative “These areas are home to hundreds of animal species, And we who represent the most intelligent one, we should protect every square centimeter of the woods, do not treat it as a dump”

After the hard work the volunteers are rewarded with a succulent feast – humus, sliced, olive, homemade bread, and fruit extracts – all strictly vegan.
