Unusual sighting in front of the former Hotel Lido di Muggia, this Sunday 2 January 2022.
Two MujaVeg volunteers, during a walk casually dedicated to the photography of birds, they see an extraordinary specimen of pink flamingo in the Muggia waters.
The volunteers stopped to admire the animal and to dedicate a few shots to it, after making sure the flamingo was not debilitated or injured. It is indeed unusual that these animals, in winter, are in these parts, in particular it is very rare to see them in Muggia.
