MujaVeg on Punta Olmi: it must remain a forest.
Paolo Rosso's words reported today by Piccolo seek to plagiarize the people of Muggesa, making one believe that the forest where all of us have always walked, and to be "improved" by creating second homes for tourists.
The images speak clearly: wealthy Austrians will have large windows behind which they will be able to set their tables with fine Sacher cakes, so the people of Muggia will be able to fantasize from the outside. On the other hand, What good is wealth if you can't flaunt it in front of the eyes of those who don't have it?
The photos, they are cunningly taken from the internet to deceive, they show a green forest with green houses, obviously no fence, no technological system, no vehicles parked in the driveway, actually the driveway was also removed: asphalt and concrete are not nice to look at. What Rosso wants the people of Muggia to forget is that in Punta Olmi there is already greenery and it is better than that of the beautiful renderings. A mature forest that is well maintained and alive.
The entrepreneur repeatedly underlines the fact that that forest is his property, and this is why we ask the institutions to purchase or expropriate that area and protect it in the form of a park. The absurd human rules do not take into account that that immense area is totally covered by vegetation and is the home of hundreds of thousands of living beings including insects, birds, reptiles as well as some mammals. They are the only ones who should be able to claim the right of ownership of a forest. Let's keep the forest alive!
