A sad historical moment for the Noghere Valley forest, razed to the ground by the short-sighted policy of the Trieste Port Authority. We filmed the devastation of a forest that had grown over decades and was destroyed in just a few days. The story of a wonderful place that over the centuries has been a treasure chest of biodiversity, up to the years 60, when anthropic pressure has vomited all its disgust. Nature's attempt to recover was to no avail, as the combination of an availability of economic resources placed in the wrong hands delivered the final blow.
