Ingredients (per 3/4 portions)

500 gr. onions golden

1 l vegetable broth

1 spoon of sugar

1, 2 spoons of flour or starch

Sale q.b.

EVO oil as needed.

Half a glass of water

Pepper optional

Procedure

Take a saucepan with the bottom greased with extra virgin olive oil and cold put the clean and sliced ​​onions, salt as required, light the fire and fry 2 minutes.

Add half a glass of water, lower the flame to the minimum, put a lid on and cook for a 8/10 minutes or until the onions are soft.

If necessary add a little more’ of water .

Then add the sugar and flour, mix well until there are no more lumps.

Then add the broth, mix and bring to a boil. Cook over low heat for a 15 minutes.

Soups should preferably be consumed later 12/24 hours from preparation.

You can serve the soup with croutons.
